ABOUT Black ink
Black Ink is a local family-owned business that was founded in 1985 as a one-man crew and a service truck. Since then, it has grown into a business with multiple locations and employees.
Black Ink started its name when Gerald Inkster decided to roll the dice and gamble on himself. By setting out on his own as oilfield repair expert, Gerald chased rigs tirelessly, growing his knowledge of oilfield equipment and strengthening his craftsmanship in the field. Eventually Black Ink couldn’t keep up with the workload that its reputation started to attract, with a single service truck. As a result, Black Ink grew into its first location with multiple employees in 1993 and started performing more complete rebuilds and overhauls.
Black Ink provides sales, services and rentals for the oilfield drilling industry.
Through the years Black Ink grew and expanded to become a sizable supplier of oilfield products and services, over time it started to specialize in the well service pump industry and acquire its own fleet of rental equipment. At that point a second location was required to keep up with the growing market demands, which brought the addition of the second site in 2010. From there Black Ink’s supply and knowledge of oilfield equipment has flourished and strengthened to a leading name in pump service experts.
If it weren’t for the close working relationships and dedicated team that has formed over the years Black Ink wouldn’t be what it is today. It is their support that has enabled Black Ink to flourish and has driven it to excel to higher standings for its clients. The strongest asset of this business has, and always will be the relationships it forms with its customers. As a result, Black Ink will always go above and beyond to assure the needs of the ever-growing market and its consumers are met with knowledgeable and speedy support.
